Welcome Bullievers, Gamers, and Web3 Speculators!

As we continue to shape and expand our Bullieverse, it’s crucial that we keep you informed of our technical accomplishments and ongoing projects. In this post, we’re focusing on our Development and Game Production teams’ updates from May. So, let’s dive in!

Development Team Update

Our Dev team had a busy month working on multiple key projects.

To start off, the Coral Store items sale went live, marking a significant milestone. This wouldn’t have been possible without the successful implementation of the Coral Store’s Smart Contract and a seamless user interface design to support it.

Next on the agenda was the task of upgrading Bull NFT’s art. We’ve implemented a dual approach with activations happening via off-chain and NFT activations on-chain via a burn mechanism. Alongside this, we’ve deployed a new Lootbox contract, which played a crucial role during our Warpstone activation event.

Last but not least, we’re making strides in adding functionality to our Bulls by equipping them with NFT Skins. This is currently under development and we’re excited about the dynamic dimension and inherent value it’ll bring to our Bull characters.

Game Production Team Update

The Game Production team was on a roll, tackling various challenges and making exciting headway.

Our first order of business was debugging. We resolved an issue where accounts without NFTs were displaying images of bulls in the character selection. We also completed a 3-week sprint to prepare Necrodemic for multiplayer capabilities, which involved integrating with AWS and the COBI account system. This allowed us to replicate all functionality and visuals, including wearables and other NFT collections.

On the development front, we built the character skill tree unlock progression and the weapon skin loadout system, both functioning as intended. New features such as the crouch ability, chat box, and VOIP system for multiplayer have also been added. Furthermore, we’re excited to share that all wearables, effects, skins, characters, and NFTs can now be showcased in multiplayer sessions.

Our team also built the first alpha version of Bull Run on local Android devices, achieving 80% completion of Bull Run’s UI.

Our balancing updates included adjustments to AI pathing, teleporting, and spawning, along with tweaks to shotgun damage fall-off and spread, and grenade throwing mechanics.

And that’s a wrap on our May updates. Your support fuels our dedication, and we’re excited to continue bringing you new developments and updates from the front lines of Bullieverse. Stay tuned, keep exploring, and keep on Bullieveing!
