Bear Hunt Update! Community votes to extend deadline to hunt bears

We are well on our way toward our vision of becoming a community-owned metaverse. It is safe to say that Bear Hunt has played a crucial part in propelling us toward our vision. Until 23/08/2022, more than 3500 bears have been claimed.
Kudos to all Bull owners who have hunted the bears and claimed them within the stipulated date.
Considering we are a community-centered organization, we regularly interact with all relevant stakeholders who make us who we are today to catch their pulse and recalibrate our journey should the need arise. In one such interaction, we understood that many in the community wanted an extension to the bear claiming period for very valid reasons. After the feedback, we huddled internally and came to a consensus that extending the deadline has no negative repercussions and will positively impact the community. How? Do you ask?
Uptick in usage:
The past couple of weeks has seen a significant increase in unique wallets returning to discord and playing the game. This was primarily driven by the outreach campaign that we devised and executed across multiple channels such as Twitter, Discord, E-mailers, etc. This outreach has brought in gamers who require more time to mint their bears. Pursuant to our ethos of leaving no one behind, we felt the situation warranted us to extend the deadline. While the returnees can claim what’s rightfully theirs, the community benefits from more active users.
Attract more new users:
One of the biggest advantages of extending the deadline to mint bear NFTs is the fact that it will attract more new users. Our closely knit community is growing and this extension will enable more new users to be a part of our amazing community. So, why say no to an obvious upside? Also, with the marketplace having been launched, there will be more visibility on bulls available for people to buy. This brings a whole new layer of visibility to our ecosystem.

As this was a decision that impacts everyone in our community, we thought the best judge for this decision would be the community itself and we were delighted when the community saw the bigger picture and ratified us, voting in favor of the extension.

So, finally, we are glad to announce that Bear Hunt minting will be extended till 30/09/2022.
